Have a 4WD?

If you're adventurous we recommend taking a four-wheel drive road trip up Skull Springs Road to explore the old amethyst mine, 20 mile sandy creek state battery ruins, Granite Wall, Eel Pool (Runnings Waters) and Carawine Gorge. If you love to camp, this is a great way to see more of the area and you will finish close to Marble Bar. This is a great road trip if you love photography - the landscape is very unique and changes throughout the year!

Whats in town?

Nullagine town site consists of a municipal park, public toilets, phone box, gym, police station, nursing post, public library and a lookout spot.

Take a wander up to the lookout...

A walk to the town's lookout on the hills 4km to the north of the town is a great way to see the town and panoramic views at the top. This walk is best enjoyed as the sun sets. You can see to the gully to the north of the lookout, there are the unusual walls, built as sluices by the Chinese gold miners (structures such as these are found nowhere else in the Pilbara) as well as the Nullagine war memorial and picnic benches to enjoy the view.
